Management Team
The Cobalt Health management team is comprised of healthcare industry veterans who have a proven track record to deliver results and help you achieve your goals.
Brian Kelly is Managing Director and VP of Operations. Brian draws his experience from over a decade of industry knowledge in healthcare operations management, strategic planning, and financial management.
Prior to Cobalt Health, Brian worked as a management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). While at BCG, Brian was engaged in projects in the areas of quality system development, pricing and competitive strategy, new-product launch, supplier management, and organization design.
Before BCG, Brian worked at GE Medical Systems, where he served as the Operations Manager for the Southwest Region service business, a $40 million standalone P&L. His career at GE also included roles in manufacturing engineering, production line management, sourcing and finance.
Brian holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Sean McSweeney is Managing Director and VP of Sales and Marketing. Sean brings over a decade of industry experience in healthcare marketing, sales, and information systems.
Prior to Cobalt Health, Sean was the Director of Marketing at 4medica, a medical software firm in Los Angeles developing clinical information systems for healthcare practitioners. He developed corporate and product strategy, led marketing and communications, managed product development and was responsible for business development.
Prior to 4medica, Sean managed the CT business for Toshiba America Medical Systems, leading it from $100 million to over $250 million per year in revenues. Before Toshiba, Sean held sales roles for GE Medical Systems, where he received awards for regional and national sales performance.
Sean holds an MBA with honors in marketing from the Columbia Business School, as well as a bachelor’s degree with honors in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College.

The management of Cobalt Health also maintain an Advisory Board to bring cross-functional perspectives to the business of revenue cycle management on topics such as service delivery, data analysis, emerging technologies, and more.
